-About Us-

﷯Hi, I’m Jennifer McKeon, owner and designer at Verbena. I started in the floral business by working in various retail shops and then as a freelance designer for several large-scale event decorators. I have a passion for flowers and creativity, and I ultimately decided to venture out on my own with a smaller, more individualized floral boutique. I established this company in 2003 with the goal of providing unique décor and truly personalized attention for each event we have the pleasure to decorate. Limiting the number of events we take on allows for better attention to detail and customer service. We have a different approach. From very early in my childhood, I loved to paint, sketch, sew, and build. My business combines my experience and love of art, flowers, construction, and design. I have assembled a team of talented, inspired designers who share my vision and enthusiasm and contribute their ideas. We enjoy incorporating unexpected elements and textures into our arrangements and floral sculptures. We view each new event as an opportunity to flex our creative muscles. Please come meet with our design consultants to discuss your décor and you will receive several suggestions to fit your theme and budget. Following the meeting, our team may conference and brainstorm further possibilities for your event. Once you book with us, we will show you a sample centerpiece for approval. You are welcome to come in to discuss your contract and make revisions as needed. We will work closely with your venue so everything runs smoothly and on the day of your event, a team of designers will ensure that your contract is executed to perfection. We are proud to be the recipient of many industry awards including Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice Award and The Knot Best of Weddings. The first step would be to call our email us (include links) to schedule a consultation. At that time, we will discuss your vision for your wedding or event and provide an estimate. We will follow up by emailing you a detailed proposal including a visual color palette and photos of featured florals, botanicals, and elements, detailed descriptions, and itemized pricing. If you choose to book with us, a signed contract and a 10% deposit is required. This secures our services for your day, but you are still able to make changes to the contract After booking, you may request to view a sample centerpiece, with a deadline of two months prior to your event Two weeks prior to your event we require all arrangements and quantities to be finalized. The final balance is due at that time. This is when we finalize your flower order with our farms On the day of your event, our team will arrive promptly at each location and execute your contract to your perfection
